Emergency Rescue

Safe Haven was a recipient of some animals rescued over the July 4th holiday in 2018. The animals, four servals, two caracals and one savanna cat, all approximately 2-6 months old, were suffering from malnutrition and poor health. One of the baby male serval cats needed an emergency subcutaneous fluids to survive. To ensure the safety of the animals and those involved, the operation was thoroughly planned during the week leading up to the seizure. CLICK HERE to read about the rescue.
